"The 2007 VAEA in Williamsburg was very busy. There were tons of great vendors giving away super free-bees,lots of educational seminars,
innovative ideas, valuable networking opportunities, recruiting for George Mason's
awesome Art Department, and of course, Roger Tomhave's
entertaining keynote speech. But the highlight for me?
Winning in the VAEA canvas bag in the raffle. It was truly a dream come true! I've
never won
anything in my life and I haven't put the bag down since."
-Sarah Abbene, Co-President of the NAEA Student Chapter

"I thought the conference was a great experience- wonderful for networking and professional development in the way of both attending and presenting sessions, and a vital resource for finding new and exciting media to use in the classroom.
Speedball was definitely the vendor of choice this year, with great freebie bags and the calligraphy set
and enormous bottle of India ink I won!"
